A total of 1.25 million (12.5 Lakhs) families across Punjab will receive financial support in the initial phase. The program was launched on April 29, 2025, by CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

What is CM Punjab Ration Card Program?
The Ration Card or Rashan Card is an initiative of the Punjab Government to support eligible families across Punjab with financial assistance. In this program, about 1.25 million (12.5 Lacs) low-income, underprivileged families will get financial aid. This program helps families with financial assistance to cover essential kitchen costs. It aims to combat inflation and support vulnerable families and communities by providing 3,000 PKR every month through a digital smart card.

This financial support will help these families to bear the basic food expenses and kitchen essentials. The program was launched on 29 April 2025 by the CM of Punjab. The initial aim is to provide financial aid to 1.25 million families, and it will be expanded as needed in the future. Do You Need to Apply If You’re Registered in the Nigehban Program?
It has been clarified by the Government of Punjab officials that the families who have registered in the Nigehban Ramadan Package are already included in the Punjab Ration/Rashan Card applicant list. The data of such families has already been collected and processed. So, they don’t have to be registered again. Their application are already forwarded for card issuance.

How to Apply for CM Punjab Ration Card 2026 Online using PSER

There are two methods for the offline registration of the CM Punjab Ration Card Program 2026. You can apply for CM Punjab Ration Card Registration either by visiting the Union Council or the nearest e-Khidmat Markaz.
